1. General

 

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all appointments and services booked through this website. By booking a session, you agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before confirming your appointment.

 

2. Booking Confirmation

 • All appointments must be booked in advance through the online booking system.

 • You will receive an email or SMS confirmation once your booking is successfully completed.

 • Appointments are subject to availability and may be rescheduled if necessary.

 

3. Fees and Payment

 • Fees for each session are displayed on the website.

 • Payment is required at the time of booking (unless otherwise agreed in writing).

 • Accepted payment methods are listed on the booking page.

 • All prices include VAT (if applicable).

 

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

 • Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment.

 • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session will be charged in full.

 • Clients who fail to attend a session (“no-show”) without prior notice will also be charged the full session fee.

 • The practitioner reserves the right to reschedule appointments if unforeseen circumstances arise.

 

5. Late Arrivals

 • If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.

 • If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session may be cancelled and treated as a no-show.

 

6. Confidentiality

 • All information shared during sessions is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without your written consent, except where disclosure is required by law or to prevent harm to yourself or others.

 • Client records are stored securely in accordance with privacy and data protection laws.

 

7. Scope of Service

 • Social work services are professional in nature but do not constitute legal or medical advice.

 • The practitioner will provide services in accordance with professional ethics and standards set by the relevant regulatory body (e.g. SACSSP – South African Council for Social Service Professions).

 

8. Liability

 • While every effort is made to provide a safe and supportive environment, the practitioner cannot be held liable for any decisions made or outcomes arising from the services provided.

 • Clients engage in sessions voluntarily and are responsible for their own wellbeing between sessions.

 

9. Emergencies

 • The practitioner does not provide emergency crisis services.

 • In an emergency, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.

 

10. Privacy

 • Personal information collected through the booking system is used solely for administrative and service delivery purposes and handled in compliance with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act).

 

11. Amendments

 • These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this website. Continued use of the booking service indicates acceptance of any updated Terms.
